Lighting Hire

MTS has an extensive lighting rental stock, including haze and smoke effects, LED fixtures and moving head lights for hire.

Control (Lighting Desks, Buffers, ART-Net)

From lighting consoles to DMX buffers and ART-Net nodes, we have a number of control solutions from the simplest to the most complex lighting systems.

Our lighting hire department stocks a number of lighting desks from rider-friendly brands, ranging from basic DMX controllers for LED colour changes to more advanced consoles suitable for controlling moving lights, video triggers and pixel mapped content.

Schools and churches find the Chamsys QuickQ an accessible way to add some LED or moving lights to an existing rig or small event, and larger conferences, concerts and gigs benefit from the power provided by more advanced consoles such as the Avolites Titan desks or the wider Chamsys range. The data and DMX distribution infrastructure of the event can be extended and expanded using a range of Artnet/sACN nodes, network switches and DMX buffers.

Intelligent Lighting / LED

Our lighting hire department stocks a number of moving head fixtures such as the Chauvet R2 Spot, Rogue Outcast 2X Wash and R1 Beam, as well as the pixel mappable NXT-1. These fixtures can provide movement and gobo effects that can really bring a lighting show to life.

Wash lights are a great way to add colour to a stage or area within an event space. We also stock static LED lighting such as uplighters and battens as well as wireless DMX fixtures such as the industry-standard Astera Titan Tubes.

Generic Lighting

We have a selection of generic fixtures available for hire such as Fresnels, Profiles, Floodlights and Blinders. These types of fixture are ideal for lighting a stage area, banner or a whole event space.

Our lighting hire department also stocks a number of dimming options which can be supplied with outputs on 15 and 16 amp, as well as socapex.

Lighting Effects / Atmospherics

Smoke and haze can make a huge difference to the impact of a lighting show, particularly when used in combination with moving lights.

Our lighting department stocks several hazers, smoke machines and lighting effects and will be happy to suggest a suitable option for your event.

Products include the Pea Soup Phantom Hazer, Look Unique Hazers and Chauvet Geysers.

MTS also stock Sparkulars - vertical spark machines that can be DMX controlled and provide a safer alternative to conventional pyrotechnics.
